***LOGGING BMDFS HOURS***

Click here to download and print the BMDFS Hour Log Form - students will need to fill out the form and return to the guidance office in order for any of their BMDFS hours to be logged. It should eliminate discrepancies for the future as they are required to have a signature from an adult volunteer. If you are an adult running an event, you will need to bring copies of this and give them to your volunteers so they can log their hours.

Step-by-step guide to references and recommendations on the Student Profile  - click here

APPLICATION TIPS:

  1. ASK your reference for their reference or recommendation BEFORE submitting the request through ChapterNet, AND BE SURE THEIR EMAIL ADDRESS IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT.
  2. Once you submit your request through ChaperNet, CHECK BACK WITH YOUR REFERENCE to confirm they received the request in their email you provided (many times the request winds up in the recipient's junk mail folder).
  3. GIVE YOUR REFERENCE PLENTY OF TIME to complete and submit their reference or recommendation. It's best to ask and send the ChapterNet request as close to the start of the application period as possible. Chances are your request is not the only one they've received.
  4. All of the above ALSO APPLIES to Parents and Counselor requests.
  5. If you create a separate email account (gmail, aol, etc.) to create your profile, CHECK THIS EMAIL FREQUENTLY during the application period (at least daily). This is the primary means of communication that BMDFS will send additional instructions, reminders, and application issues/errors to.

PARENTS:
